This is an inspired idea for those going through the agony and uncertainty of divorce. An ideal companion to the ‘Poetry of Divorce’ the proceeds from which help to support two Dorset charities (The West Dorset Refuge and WAND, Women’s Action Network Dorset). Tracey is an intelligent and passionate writer whose intention is to allow the reader to try and bypass the suffering and sense of helplessness that is felt during divorce, amicable or bitter, which she survived and is here to tell the tale and share the experience. This unique diary allows the divorcee to record their highs and lows which over time will offer a healing tool in its own right. INSPIRED!

I got this for my mate who’s knee-deep in divorce and it’s helped her focus at a time where focus is difficult to find. I wish it was around when I went through mine!

No need for expensive therapy, this book is a restorative outlet for the emotional devastation of divorce. Following a very difficult and acrimonious split, I found this diary an ideal tool for dealing with the anger, the agitation and the sadness. It helpfully channelled my mind to the issues that were so pertinent to me at the time, and it managed to do this in an amusing way. I even found myself laughing again! This book was instrumental in bringing back my sanity! It brought a bit of light to a dark time. It also offers practical advice, reminding you what needs to be addressed during the process of divorce – the sheer number of tasks involved can be overwhelming, so this book was a great way of focusing your mind and helping you to plan. I can’t recommend it enough – it’s sensible advice, and therapy – all in one book, what value for money!

So wish I’d had this very useful book when I was going through my divorce. It’s full of practical and thought provoking things to get you through to the other side. A wonderful companion!

I can tell that this book is going to help me so much through my divorce, it will help when I am feeling low, I’ll be able to use it to vent out all the sadness and anger brought on by this divorce. It also be handy to keep all the important bits (solicitors e.t.c.) in one place. Despite the practicalities of this amazing book it has a sense of dark humour to it and it’s rather nice to hold and write in.

This is a great little read for anyone going through a split up. Loads of sensible and fun ideas and tricks for turning negatives into positives and for helping you move through the difficult times. Lets face it, in this day and age, divorce is something that pretty much everyone is going to go through at least once and there is precious little in the way of self-help stuff out there. An ideal book to dip into or to read with a friend. Can’t recommend it too highly. 5 Stars

Could have done with this through mine. This would be an amazing Christmas gift for a friend starting the emotional roller-coaster of divorce. Full of lovely blank spaces for you to fill in your innermost thoughts, good or bad, a secret place to empty your heart of all the angst that comes along with your divorce and separation. Highly, highly recommended! Buy it now if you are struggling with divorce and pour out your pain

I got this very soon after I started to go through my divorce. It’s an amazing book, just perfect for getting your thoughts down and also making you think about things and clear your head.

I read through it first and some pages just leapt out at me as being so apt for that day. A few days later I was feeling confused and unsettled so I picked up the book and with pen in hand, started to write, tentatively at first.

Then it started flowing, my words just came and came as I filled in one page after another. I skipped ones that weren’t right for me yet and did what I could. It was a tonic and I felt lighter from doing it.

My journey continues and I refer to it often, adding bits as I go and reflecting on what I have written in days and weeks gone by. It’s a lovely book and I would suggest it for anyone going through divorce, it’s really helped and is helping me, many thanks x
