Anvarin

I thought it would be good to let you know some of the background to my science fiction novel, Anvarin, which is scheduled to be published in the middle of this year.

Cathy Wheeler is 25 years old and has been a physics nut since she was small. She has been working at Exeter University, pushing the limits of current knowledge about black holes. As we meet her she is on the verge of a breakthrough in the creation of a zero mass Kerr singularity, or ring black hole. If she succeeds, her theory predicts that a wormhole should be created in the centre of the singularity… but where the other end might be she has no idea.

Alex Sometimes is 24 and although he is very smart has no education. He spent his school years daydreaming and telling stories, but didn’t even get an English GCSE because he couldn’t be bothered to write the stories down. For the past 6 years he has been drifting from festival to festival, making money doing menial jobs and entertaining people with his immensely imaginative stories. Right now he is wandering around the country using a  a dowsing stick in an attempt to find ley lines. He bought a book about them and they have held a fascination for him since he read the first chapter.

More as it unfolds.
