The Sellwood Girls & When Queen Victoria Came To Tea (play script)

Emily and Louisa Sellwood married Tennyson poet brothers Alfred and Charles. In writing a play, Emily’s son Hallam explores the lives of his mother and aunts, and discovers a great deal about himself. The second play imagines secret informal visits from Victoria to Emily, and Albert to Alfred, rare and precious time for relaxation and revelation.
